Leaders: Sean Fraser and Donald Taylor

This outing will be a casual walk around High Park to look for migrant species and possible breeding birds.

Who can come:  Public outing, all are welcome!

Registration: Registration is required. This outing will be limited to 25 participants. Join the waitlist to be notified if space opens up. Please cancel your registration if you are unable to attend.

What to bring: Binoculars and/or camera, water, snack if desired, hiking shoes in case of recent wet weather.

Where and when to meet: Inside the main entrance gate on Bloor Street West at 5:15pm.

Facilities: There will be portable toilets and public washrooms available along the route.

Accessibility: The route will be mostly on established dirt paths and paved paths, but wet weather leading up to the day could cause some of the trails to be a little muddy. The route can be adjusted to avoid the park’s larger hills to accommodate everyone. Depending on the size of the group, we may cover 2 to 4km.

How to get there:

TTC: High Park subway station is a few minutes' walk from the meeting point.

Driving and parking: Street parking along Bloor Street West may be available, and the parking lot near the Grenadier Cafe is a 10 minute walk from the meeting point (cars can only enter the park via the Parkside Drive entrance).
